In What Ways Does Your Media Production Use, Develop or Challenge Forms And Conventions of Real Media Production?

Conventions of a title sequence is really important because it helps the audience get a better understanding of the film and it can help the audience also relate to the film. The title sequence and idea of our film is being inspired by Honeytrap. The conventions of the film were our main focus as we tried to get our film to be relatable by the music and the way our story was laid out.

 Title sequence normally goes in the order of:

1. Name of studio

2. Name of production company

3. Producer/ directors name

4. Starring

5. Film title

6. Featuring

7. Cast 

8. Music/ music composed by

9. Executive producer 

10. Based on the book by -From a play/book by

11.Based on the characters

12. (screen) story / Story by

13.Written by

Font Used

The font they normally use different font to link to the movie so sometimes they use quirky and different to make the film look more interesting and unique.

Normally we would see the font in all sides of the frame sometimes its moving and sometimes it can be on the top, bottom, left side or right side it depends on what the editor chooses.

We normally hear music or dialogue when the font of the opening credits are up. we are normally introduced to characters or get the names of actors who are staring in the film.




The conventions of title sequence of a teen drama is the order of the credits and also how many production and distribution companies that sponsor the film because the more distribution and production companies you have the more money.
