Task 11: Sub Genre of Teen Dramas

What is a Sub-Genre ?

A sub-genre is a sub category of a film. 

 I picked these two films because, they are teen drama's sub categories. 

The film Twilight contains generic codes , its a teen drama/ horror movie. Therefore its a sub-genre . The film contains elements of a teen drama, it shows students in high school in their senior year facing all the high school drama while, they battle with a clique of vampires and wolfs which has elements of Horror. 

The film High School Musical contains the generic codes of a teen drama and musical, therefore its a sub-genre. The film contains elements of a musical, students bursting into songs every 5 minutes, while facing the teen drama at school.
